Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using SketchMind at sketchmind.ai or the SchoolAdmit service at sketchmind.ai/admissions, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of service

SketchMind is an AI-powered tutoring platform that generates interactive whiteboard lessons with animated diagrams, LaTeX rendering, and voice narration. It is provided "as-is" and intended for educational and informational use.

SchoolAdmit is an admission alert service that monitors school portals in Delhi-NCR, India, and notifies subscribers via SMS, WhatsApp, and email when admission forms open. SchoolAdmit provides notification alerts only — it does not guarantee admission outcomes or the accuracy of school portal information.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Notify us immediately at hello@sketchmind.ai if you suspect unauthorized access. You may not share your account or transfer it to another person.

4. Subscriptions and payment

Free plan: Limited to 5 AI sessions per month at no charge. Top-up credits are not available on the free plan.

Pro plan: 50 sessions per month included, voice narration, advanced diagrams, and PDF export at $12/month USD or ₹999/month INR (annual: $99 USD / ₹8,499 INR). Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis. Unused monthly sessions do not roll over.

Top-up credits: Pro subscribers may purchase additional session packs (10, 25, or 100 sessions). Top-up credits remain valid while your Pro subscription is active. Free-tier users cannot purchase top-ups.

SchoolAdmit: ₹499 one-time activation fee per admission season. Alerts continue for the duration of that season after payment and mobile verification.

You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no prorated refunds are issued for partial months.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use SketchMind to generate content that is illegal, harmful, or violates the rights of others
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or systematically extract data from the service
• Use automated scripts to generate sessions at a volume exceeding normal human use
• Resell or sublicense access to the service
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Attempt to bypass rate limits, authentication, or access controls

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

6. Intellectual property

SketchMind and its underlying technology, branding, and interface are owned by SketchMind. The AI-generated lesson content produced during your sessions is provided for your personal educational use. You retain ownership of any content you upload to the Knowledge Base feature (PDFs, documents). You grant us a limited licence to process that content solely for the purpose of generating your lessons.

7. AI-generated content disclaimer

SketchMind generates educational content using AI. While we aim for accuracy, AI-generated explanations may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information. Do not rely solely on SketchMind for high-stakes decisions (medical, legal, financial, exam-critical). Always verify important information with authoritative sources.

8. SchoolAdmit disclaimer

SchoolAdmit monitors publicly available school portal pages and dispatches alerts based on detected changes. We do not guarantee delivery of every alert, the accuracy of school portal information, or admission outcomes. Alert delivery depends on mobile network availability and third-party SMS and email infrastructure.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SketchMind shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms, with or without notice depending on the severity of the violation. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or site notice. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
